AH, it’s time for my first PROPER post!
I AM PUMPED!
And I’m even more excited because we’re starting with my bae Kate, as she was the last to step out.
And her look? A stunner.
#BLESSED.
Let’s be off!
So, before Kate and Will head off on their tour of Pakistan next week — which, as I’m sure you can surmise, I am READY for, because Kate’s tour fashion is always *chef’s kiss* — Mom and Dad stopped by the Aga Khan Centre in London.
And Kate, as she is wont to do, did a little hat tip to her upcoming host nation by wearing a Pakistani-inspired ensemble: a gorgeous ARoss x Soler maxi dress in a deep shade of green — similar to the primary color of Pakistan’s flag — and rhinestone earrings (below) by a Pakistani brand called Zeen. (Which, by the way, ring in at just $8 — something for us non-royals!)
Her emerald suede bag is by Asprey, and the shoes are a pair of her favorites by Emmy London.
All of it is truly lovely — I mean the move of that chiffon alone? *sighs* But the thing I love about it most? It’s a prime example of so-called “diplomatic fashion,” which is something Kate does extremely well.
Remember those maple leaf-accented hats and the Queen’s diamond maple leaf pin in Canada? That graphic purple and white sheath by American-based, but Singaporean-born Prabal Gurung in Singapore? And of course, most iconically, her very British wedding dress, which included elements to represent every part of the United Kingdom? Our girl loves a prideful ensemble, and I love her for it!
Anywho, while the dress is technically still available, it is a cool $1,075, so I thought you might like to see some slightly more affordable alternatives.
Happy shopping, ladies! And if you need an excuse to do a little damage, remember — the holidays are right around the corner, and this shade is VERY appropriate for a December shindig, don’t you think? ?
