Kate Is Princess Jasmine IRL for Her First Day in Pakistan and My Disney-Loving Heart Can’t Take It

Guys! Be still, my Disney Princess-loving heart!

At long last — and after what sounds like some VERY serious logistics — Kate and Will have landed in Pakistan for their official #RoyalVisit.

And, as expected, Kate did NOT disappoint with her first ensemble!

Inspired by the shalwar kameez, the traditional combination dress worn by women (and men!) in the region, Kate stepped off the plane wearing a stunning sky-blue ombré dress and pant combo, complete with draped detailing on both the front and the back (you can appreciate that in @KensingtonRoyal’s gorgeous plane shot), and button detailing on both sleeves, courtesy of one of her — and Diana’s — favorites, Catherine Walker.

Kate further honored her host country by rocking a pair of beaded chandelier earrings and a metallic minaudière by one of their own, Pakistani brand Zeen (the same brand behind her earrings at the Aga Khan Centre last week).

I mean, Princess Jasmine IRL, right? I can not type this ??? emoji enough!

I still think her stuh-ning dusty blue Royal Ascot ensemble by Elie Saab was very Cinderella, so I, for one, am hoping this means we’ll be getting more Disney-inspired ensembles from our girl in the future.

At the very least, lots of whimsy on this tour!

So clearly, I’m a true believer in this ensemble. But what do you think? Do you love? Are you excited to see what else she has up her (perfectly buttoned) sleeve for this tour? Hit me in the comments!

XO, Rose

P.S. Love the look? While it’s not quite the same in shape, I found this pretty little light blue, off-the-shoulder number by Chi Chi London that I think will give you a similar vibe — it’s even ombré!
