Last But Not Least, Kate With Puppies! #RoyalVisitPakistan

Finally! At long last, I have made it to Kate and Will’s final day of #RoyalVisitPakistan. And I have to say, it was a true delight of a finish, not just sartorially but photographically because…

PUPPIES!

Yes, Kate rocked two lovely monochrome outfits, and we will get to them shortly. But first, can we just take a moment to appreciate this adorableness:

???

These were taken at the Army Canine Centre in Islamabad, where the pups are being rigorously trained to sniff out explosive materials. *gulp*

The Cams got to see the pups in action, helping them go through their daily routine — and clearly getting in some play time, too.

(Could you imagine George and Charlotte here? ?)

It was Kate’s final look of the day — forgive me for working backwards, but I couldn’t bury the lead! ? — and if it looks slightly less traditional than Kate’s previous ensembles on the tour, that’s because it is. While the white top and pants are indeed a shalwar kameez, Kate put her on twist on it by adding a black coat with satin accents, including the trim and covered buttons, by British brand Beulah. Gold Accessorize danglers and cross-strap flats by Russell & Bromley rounded out the look.

But her earlier outfit was no less lovely — and for an especially sweet outing. After being routed back to Lahore due to what sounded likely truly GOD awful weather en route to Islamabad (tweets and video from the Royal Rota looked truly scary), the Cams decided to spend their morning by making a surprise visit to the orphanage they visited the day before.

Truly impossible to say if this was the ensemble Kate thought she’d be wearing that morning, but if not, her team certainly made quick work of it, as this embroidered tunic — by Pakistani brand Élan — was striking. She recycled the J.Crew heels from the day before (here if you’d like to read more), and she previewed the Accessorize earrings that she would ultimately wear for her final public outing that afternoon.

After which, of course, they headed home to George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Phew! That was a whole lot of prettiness over the course of five days! I have to say, I think her aquamarine shalwar kameez from the mosque visit was my personal favorite — what a beautiful color on her. But, of course, her arrival outfit was incredibly dreamy and that Jenny Packham? Beyond.

Do you have a favorite? Tell me in the comments!

And gear up, because now that we’re on real time again, my next article is a particularly cute one —

How George and Charlotte are celebrating Halloween! (Hint: It involves a palace and some Disney.)

Rosie
