Ah! I love a day when we get to see both of our duchesses out and about!
And thanks to the upcoming Remembrance Day, we are going to get a whole lot of that this week.
Starting with today!
As I wrote earlier, Kate rocked a bright blue fit-and-flare dress today with patent (!!!) accessories, which made my retro-loving heart squeal a bit.
But! Arguably even more fabulous? Meghan’s monochromatic ensemble for her appearance with Prince Harry at the opening of the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, which included this stuh-ning royal blue velvet fascinator.
Come swoon with me:
It’s a new piece by Philip Treacy, and I think it is TDF.
It also complemented the rest of her outfit, kept dark for the somber occasion, including a long, bouclé wrap coat by Sentaler and ruched, knee-high Tamara Mellon boots (which, by the way, are still available in a few sizes for a cool $795). (Thank you, Meghan’s Mirror!)
Still, that hat, though. *chef’s kiss*
And that hair! I love those bouncy curls. Not to mention the expert cat-eye — so, so pretty.
Of course, the coat itself is reminding me of Meghan’s excellent coat game, which is on flawless display in this lovely illustration I spotted on the ‘Gram yesterday.
Thinking it’s about time we do a coat roundup for our duchesses, don’t you?
XO, and with a huge thank you to those have kept — and those who continue to keep — us safe,
Rose
