Everything Kate Wore for Her Fourth Day in Pakistan (Including the J.Crew Heels That Are Currently on Sale!)

So, as you may have read on my Instagram, I experienced quite a few literal technical difficulties with the site last week — smack in the middle of the royal tour — which meant that I couldn’t post anything for Kate and Will’s last two days in Pakistan.

*cue the ???*

But! Much as I know that the vast majority of you have already seen these pics and moved well beyond to Meghan’s fab fall ensemble (that, at least, I was up and running for!), I am a completist by nature. Which means YOU are getting two more Pakistan posts.

Hope you don’t mind!

But then again, when Kate looks this gorgeous, who would? ?

Plus, we have sales to discuss!

So, in that spirit, Day 4!

Day 4 in Pakistan was quite the full day for Will and Kate. Attending a children’s birthday party (Kate gave a speech!), trying their hands at cricket (again, Kate stole the show, as NOBODY loves sports more than Kate), and visiting the truly stunning Badshahi Mosque in Lahore made for an especially busy day.

And for two gorgeous outfits!

The first included a creamy white shalwar kameez by Gul Ahmed, beautifully embroidered with Pakistan’s national flower, jasmine, an embellished dupatta by Maheen Khan, and, perhaps most relevantly to those on the hunt for their next great pair of work shoes, J.Crew’s 65mm Lucie suede pumps in “ashen brown.”

It’s worth noting that those $220 d’Orsay heels come in three other colors — a bubblegum pink, navy, and black — and they’re currently 35% off, which means they’re down to $143. Not bad for a pair of princess-worthy pumps, eh?

Kate chose this look to meet the Governor of Punjab, play cricket at the National Cricket Academy, and visit the more than 150 young orphaned boys and girls of the SOS Children’s Villages Pakistan. That’s where the birthday party took place, and where Kate gave her speech. She even spoke a little Urdu to wish the birthday boys and girls a happy birthday! (You can watch her in action here.)

After that, Kate did a quick-change, into perhaps my favorite look of the entire trip — an aquamarine Maheen Khan shalwar kameez with beautiful gold detailing. According to People, while the tunic and pants, crafted from French chiffon and embroidered with molten silk, were purchased “off the rack” from O’nitaa in London, the dupatta was custom made by the designer for Kate, so it would exactly match.

And truly, the look could not be more striking.

It popped so prettily against the stone of the Badshahi Mosque.

But it also served another purpose — to bring a bright splash of color to the local leading cancer center, the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, where Kate and Will visited pediatric cancer patients.

Just like William’s mom did more than 20 years ago, in 1996 and 1997. (Yes, alright, I’m crying!)

There were lots of sweet moments at the center, as the couple met with both the children and their families, but my favorite moment was when Kate donned a toy tiara so that she and one of the little girls could have a royal tea party together.

My heart!

Linking the J.Crew pumps and a few more camel kitten heels in the shopper below, but mostly just reveling in all the loveliness.

XO,
Rosie
